The only guidelines for this illustration project were to have three figures in a space. I just started drawing and decided to make the figures interact in different ways. Another sketch that I had dealt with disguising your emotions, which made me think of actual disguises in the form of facial hair. I continued evolving the idea until it came to this final form done in pastel.
