Dot Matrix Typeface: Pop Art

For the first typography project of junior year (woo!) the assignment asked us to make a typeface using a grid. I chose to use the balloon dart game commonly found at carnivals. The balloons make up the letter and the negative space is comprised of popped balloons with darts in them. The poster is inspired by the game itself by using a cork board background with a single dart. Simple, but enough to show the idea of the typeface.
