Bodoni Booklet

For the second part of the history of type project, we were to create a poster (above) and a booklet (below) that were based off of one aspect of the research done on our typeface.  I chose to focus on the mechanical precision that Bodoni used in designing his letterforms.  This is my second attempt at the project.  I am a lot happier with this result than the previous one.  I chose to redo it in a very simplified way.  The booklet is to follow a grid, but we were also encouraged to break the grid, which I did with the gears.
