The first Form & Communication project involved illustrating a conversation between the US and North Korea. We were not to focus on the content, but rather the tone of the conversation. I wanted to convey the tension, which is where the ropes tugging came from. Each ball represents one of the countries. I used the star as a symbol for compromise because both countries have it in their flag. I plan to redo it at some point and I'll post that when I do.
